SSP Technology A/S Capital Increase
SSP Technology A/S, based in Denmark, was founded in 2001. The Company is a subsidiary of Germany-based Plambeck Neue Energien AG, one of the major German companies for renewable energies. Plambeck plans, realises and operates wind-farm projects on land (onshore) and at high sea (offshore).
SSP is active in research and development of rotor blades for wind-energy turbines and in the construction of moulds for the production of the rotor blades. The Company particularly focuses on aerodynamic properties, long durability, low weight and high stability. The wind energy market, which SSP is active in, is estimated to be the fastest growing sector of the global electric power market.
New Energies Invest AG, based in Switzerland, a holding company founded by Bank Sarasin & Cie AG und managed by Remaco Merger AG, participates in a capital increase amounting to EUR 4 million (DKK 29,817,460) and takes 25% of the shares. New Energies Invest acquires, administers and sells holdings in enterprises in the area of renewable energies at home and abroad. This includes investments in enterprises from the fields of solar and hydraulic energy, wind, biomass, wave energy and fuel cells.
The flow of funds enables SSP to strengthen its equity basis and to finance the planned growth strategy at home and abroad.
